There is agreement among respondents that dwindling congregations are entitled to support and strengthening from the next bishop. There was slightly more agreement from laity than clergy, and interestingly, respondents living in urban and suburban areas were more inclined to agree than those in rural areas and towns. (Rank: 7. It is important that the next Bishop of New Hampshire lead the diocese in planting new congregations.
 

When considering whether the next bishop should lead the diocese in planting new congregations, nearly a third of respondents (34%) are undecided or in disagreement, with two-thirds in agreement.  The laity are more undecided than the ordained, who are more likely to agree strongly.  There are no significant differences in response by geography, however, urban respondents demonstrate lesser degrees of indecision than suburban, and slightly more agreement than town or rural residents.  (Rank: 11.
