The Spirit continues to move in me and, I believe, in the General Convention.  My eyes are opened today to see the international flavor of the Episcopal Church; not a church of the United States only, but of Central and South America, Cuba, The Virgin Islands, Taiwan, Japan, and Puerto Rico. Flags of all the nations within the Episcopal Church adorn the House of Deputies. The Eucharist this morning was celebrated in both English and Spanish. I sat next to a newly arrived deputy from Taiwan, the Rev. Dr. Lennon Y.R. Chang, the rector of Advent Church at St. Jogn’s University in Taiwan, ROC.

This Church feels like moving on in mission while respecting the differences of opinion among us.  This is the common culture of our Church. Those who wish to leave the Church, for whatever reason, will be blessed with our prayers of good will.
