2007 ChIPs Update and Timeline

Collection

     Parish collection for ChIPS (Christmas gifts for Children of Incarcerated Parents) can begin at any time.

     On Saturday, November 10th, the diocesan collection will take place at the Diocesan Convention, St. Paul's Church, Concord, NH.

Sorting

     Sorting will begin on Saturday around 1:00 PM (location TBA).   Sorting continues on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Monday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Clean-up of the sorting facility and pick-up by the State Prison truck will take place Wednesday from 9:00 to Noon.

Wrapping

     Wrapping of gifts takes place at the NH State Prison for Men in Concord, Monday, December 3 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 

      A Citizen Involvement Application must be submitted before November 3rd for those who wish to help wrap gifts.  It can be downloaded in .pdf here.  A form can also be obtained from Ruth Kirkhuff by calling 485-8275.
