Preliminary Convention materials posted to website with notification to parochial clergy, convocation co-conveners, commission heads, committee chairs. Materials posted to include: Preliminary Time Line, Resolution Guidelines and Submission Format, Nomination Form, Biographical Sketch/Consent Agreement and general convention information.
May 27
Preliminary Drafts of Resolutions due. Resolutions reflecting constitutional and/or canonical changes must be reviewed by the Committee on Constitution and Canons; therefore, it is vital to have preliminary drafts submitted by this deadline.
August 12
Annual Reports due from: Convocation Conveners, Standing Committee, Diocesan Council, Committees and the Registrar.
Deadline for submission of Resolutions for printing in the Pre-Convention Journal. Any Resolution submitted after this date until the date of Convention must be done in accordance with the Rules for Late Resolutions found in the Rules of Order. Rules of Order are posted on the diocesan website.
Deadline for submission of Nomination Forms and Biographical Sketch/Consent Agreements.
August 15
All Convention Registration material for clergy, delegates and alternates will be posted to the website. Material includes: agenda, letter of welcome, procedures from the Convention Business Committee and the Convention Secretary, map, registration form, and delegation change form.
August 29
Pre-Convention Journal is sent to printer’s office.
Sept. 12
Mailing of Pre-Convention Journal/Budget Book to all delegates.
Oct. 8
Deadline for submission of individual registrations for Convention. Please observe this deadline which complies with diocesan canon 1, sect. 4,
Oct. 31
Deadline for submission of Delegation Change Form
Nov. 8
