For over a decade the Reverend John Yen has been a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester, NH.  He and his family fled the Sudan many years ago during a period of massive unrest.  It took the Yen family nine years, mostly by foot, to traverse from the Sudan (by way of Egypt) to arrive as refugees in New Hampshire. Father John Yen is the only Anglican, Sudanese priest in the three state region of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.  He travels far and wide, presiding at the baptisms, weddings, and funerals of Sudanese refugees his native tongue of Dinka all over New England.
