Christ Church, Exeter and other local faith communities will gather in front of the Exeter Town Hall on Wednesday, June 15 at 6pm to both honor those who lost their lives and to be a public witness for those communities threatened. This will be a time to demonstrate support for the LGBT community and Latino community, as well as express hope that these mass shootings will end. There will be singing and time to tell stories and connect with one another.
Participants are invited to wear rainbow colors and bring rainbow flags. Poster boards and paper will be provided for those who would like to make signs. Wednesday's gathering will not be candlelit as the summer solstice is near, so participants will stand under the bright sunshine in the middle of town and stand up for peace and justice.
