The Episcopal Church of New Hampshire is governed in an inclusive and transparent fashion. All church members play an important role — from day-to-day decisions in parish life to the wider Episcopal Church’s highest policy-making body, the General Convention.

At the diocesan level, lay and ordained people, together with Bishop Hirschfeld and his staff, share the responsibilities of oversight, budgeting, and leadership. The information found here help will help you understand our governance structure and process and identify the resources available to assist in the development and growth of our congregations, churches, and chapels throughout New Hampshire.
