Key Dates Leading Up to the 223rd Annual Convention

Convention registration procedures, deadlines and voting processes will be communicated in a Convention newsletter.

Sept. 20
Last day for cononical clergy to request Bishop’s permission to be absent from Convention

Sept. 22
Resolutions presentation to Western, Central and Lakes Region Convocations via Zoom.

Sept. 23
Resolutions presentation to Seacoast and Southern Convocations via Zoom.

Sept. 26
Last day for parishes to certify new delegates or alternates for Convention. Sorry: no exceptions will be made in order to prepare voting roles and materials.

Sept. 27-Oct. 10
Registration window for all attending Convention.
Each parish will assign a single registrar to register its entire delegation during this window.

Sept. 28
Resolutions presentation to Northern Convocation, in person.

Sept. 30:
Last day to book room at the discounted group at the Mountain View Grand.

October 1, 6:30 p.m.

Officers of Convention

President of the Convention - The Rt. Rev. A. Robert Hirschfeld

The Bishop of the diocese is President of the Convention and shall preside at all sessions of the Convention.

Secretary of the Convention - Alice Perry

A Secretary shall be elected upon the assembling of the annual session of the Convention for a term that continues until the next annual session of the Convention. A vacancy in the office of Secretary shall be filled by the ecclesiastical authority for the remainder of the term. The Secretary shall be a member of the Convention ex officio with voice and vote.

Treasurer of the Convention - Chris Porter

A Treasurer shall be elected at each annual session of the Convention for a term that continues until the next annual session of the Convention. A vacancy in the office of Treasurer shall be filled by the ecclesiastical authority for the remainder of the term. The Treasurer shall be a member of the Convention ex officio with voice and vote.

Registrar of the Diocese - Lisa Laughy, Registrar/Archivist 

Convention shall elect a registrar, who shall also be named archivist of the diocese and shall hold these offices until another is duly elected.

Chancellor of the Diocese - Robert A. Wells, Esq.
Co-Chancellor of the Diocese - Lucy Hodder, Esq.

Convention shall elect, upon nomination by the bishop, the chancellor of the diocese for a term of two years. The chancellor shall be a communicant in good standing in a congregation in the diocese and a member of the bar in the State of New Hampshire.
