Please save the date for a mandatory clergy training day on Safe Church and Title IV policies and procedures - Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Peter's Church in Londonderry (snow date Thursday January 19). Robin Hammeal-Urban, Canon for Mission Integrity and Training for the Diocese of CT, will be leading this training. This training is required for all canonically resident clergy who are active in a parish or extra-parochial ministry. If you are licensed in New Hampshire but the safe church policies of another diocese apply to you, you are not required to participate, but you are invited to do so.
In preparation for this training, you will need to complete online "Safeguarding God's Children" modules - information about newly required modules and a reminder about how to login will be sent out soon. After completing this training, you will be certified as being in compliance with our Safe Church policy for the next three years. If you are not able to attend this training, you will need to sign up for a regional safe church training in order to be in compliance with our policies, and you will need to review the material presented about Title IV at another time. Dates for regional trainings, and other information about safe church policies and procedures, can be found atwww.nhepiscopal.org/safe-church.
Lunch will be provided. Please indicate any dietary needs or requirements when you register.
